Roofers covering Alfreton and the villages around it.
Roofers covering Alfreton and the villages around it. A market and mining town on high ground, with stone and brick Victorian housing alongside substantial post-war estates.
Alfreton stands high and open on the western side of the M1, and it takes weather accordingly. The town centre has older stone and brick properties, some Georgian along the main street, with steeper roofs and stacks that need repointing more often than a sheltered town would. Around it are the mining villages, Somercotes and Riddings among them, with rows of Victorian terraced housing built for the pits and now largely recovered in concrete tile. Beyond those sit large post-war estates. The exposure is the theme here: ridge mortar cracks out faster, verges take a beating, and after a serious gale we generally get more calls from the Alfreton area than from the sheltered valley towns of similar size.

Along with Alfreton itself we work across Somercotes, Riddings, Swanwick, South Normanton, Shirland and the surrounding villages.
No. Quotes are free and there is no obligation, in Alfreton the same as anywhere else we cover.
We are based in Derby and Alfreton is well within the area we work every week. For an active leak, ring rather than message and we will tell you honestly when we can be there.
All of it, along with Somercotes, Riddings, Swanwick and the surrounding villages. If you are just outside it is still worth asking.
Yes. A single slipped tile, a blocked gutter or a loose ridge tile are all worth sorting before they turn into something bigger, and we would rather do the small job now.
